Security

True privacy in shared environments 🔒

Every user is placed into their own micro-segment (VLAN/Group), so they can only communicate with their own devices. This is essential for residential environments, ensuring the student in Room 101 cannot see the devices of the student in Room 102. For devices that can't use the app (like smart TVs or game consoles), the system provides a unique iPSK (Identity Pre-Shared Key) to connect them securely without compromising the 802.1x network architecture.

Onboarding is simple: Users authenticate once with ConneX via SSO/credentials. Browserless devices (consoles, smart TVs) connect using a unique iPSK passcode from the app. All devices reconnect automatically and seamlessly across all affiliated locations.
